Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
Orangeburg, SC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Deliver nursing care based on patient acuity with staffing ratios adjusted accordingly
- Float within scope to meet facility and department needs as required
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response team assignments as needed, including during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required (American Heart Association accepted)
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPI and TNCC certifications preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency room setting is a plus
