Job Title

MRI Technologist

Location

Carbondale, IL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | On-call rotation approximately every 8 weeks (Monday – Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Prepare and position patients for MRI scans to ensure optimal image quality
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns
Review imaging orders and patient history to determine appropriate scanning procedures
Participate in on-call rotation approximately every 8 weeks, covering Monday through Sunday as needed

Required Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in MRI or Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Active state licensure or eligibility to work as an MRI Technologist in Illinois
Demonstrated experience performing MRI procedures in a clinical setting
Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a hospital or acute care environment
Familiarity with a variety of MRI protocols and patient populations
