Registered Nurse – Outpatient Infusion
Location
New Brunswick, NJ
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | One Saturday per month required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient infusion clinic setting with a patient ratio of 1:6–7
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies in accordance with established protocols
- Float between clinic locations for appropriate assignments as needed
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient infusion or oncology nursing
- BLS certification required at time of submission
- Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification required at time of submission
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Ability to work 2 of 3 major holidays as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion clinic environment
- Familiarity with Baxter pump operation and related infusion equipment
- Experience floating across multiple clinical units or campus locations
