Registered Nurse – NICU

Location

Edmonds, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in a Level II NICU setting for neonates 32 weeks gestational age or greater, including normal newborn admissions
  • Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
  • Manage respiratory support including CPAP and BiPAP
  • Operate feeding tubes and syringe pumps as part of neonatal care
  • Float to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
  • Current BLS/CLS certification
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Ability to attend all deliveries, including high-risk
  • Must meet travel compliance requirements including 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps in a neonatal setting
  • Competency in mother-baby couplet care
