Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and annually as directed
• Maintain compliance with all facility and travel assignment requirements throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing (travel experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required at time of submission
• Active ACLS and PALS certifications required at time of submission
• Must achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active TNCC certification preferred
• 18 months of experience within a single Emergency Room location preferred
