Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients to improve functional independence in daily living activities
Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current and valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado
Current NBCOT certification
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel or contract therapy experience
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
