Contract | Days | Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with occasional shift adjustment to 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for morning multidisciplinary rounds); possible pre-arranged Saturday shifts with a weekday off; possible pre-arranged Sunday on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Physical Therapist in an inpatient/acute care setting
• Evaluate and treat a diverse patient caseload including orthopedic, neurological, general medical, and surgical cases
• Participate in morning multidisciplinary rounds (MDRs) as scheduled
• Collaborate with a therapy team that includes a therapist who floats from an connected outpatient clinic to provide support as needed
• Float to the outpatient clinic on an as-needed basis when inpatient census is low

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Texas
• Strong inpatient and acute care clinical skills
• Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, general medical, and surgical patient populations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional Saturdays and Sunday on-call as pre-arranged

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary team rounding in an acute care environment
