Travel RN – Telemetry

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Telemetry unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
- Perform neurovascular checks on limbs, frequent ambulation, and repositioning
- Implement orthopedic precautions and deliver comprehensive pain control management
- Monitor and care for a wide variety of patients including trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, and stroke presentations
- Utilize GE wireless telemetry equipment and Welch Allyn vital sign machines within a Meditech EMR environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- Trauma and/or orthopedic nursing experience
- Neuro and/or stroke nursing experience
