Description

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Greensboro, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients across varying acuity levels
Document patient information and care accurately using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Float to other campus locations within the health system as operationally needed
Complete required compliance modules and orientation activities as assigned

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)
No open background check cases permitted; current driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

CPI, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications preferred
Previous Charge RN experience preferred
Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
