Job Title
Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuro/Surgical Telemetry)
Location
Jackson, TN
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Surgical Telemetry floor
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate, step-down level care
- Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
- Float to other Medical/Surgical Telemetry units or low-acuity ICU as needed
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements (3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)
Required Qualifications
- Active Tennessee or compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
- AHA ACLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
- NIHSS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
- Epic experience within the past 12 months, clearly documented on candidate profile; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with neuro or surgical telemetry patient populations
