Job Title

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising OT
Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy in accordance with facility standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and outcomes
Maintain a schedule of 8-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday as assigned, with no required weekend or holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

Current and valid COTA certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in Minnesota
Ability to commit to a 13-week contract assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week
Minimum 14-day notice required prior to any early termination of assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation systems
