Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Department setting with Med/Surg and Telemetry crossover
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients across varying acuity levels
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Prior experience in Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or Telemetry nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a combined Med/Surg/Telemetry and Emergency Department environment
Ability to adapt quickly to fluctuating patient volumes and acuity levels
Holiday availability preferred
