Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Wichita Falls, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 or 4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit with a heavy cardiac and CVA patient population
Manage and titrate cardiac drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, and related medications
Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Complete required orientation modules and maintain compliance with facility documentation requirements

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in-hand prior to start
Minimum 2 years of IMC/PCU/Stepdown or cardiac nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Strong cardiac background with demonstrated ability to manage cardiac drips
Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
Active Nursys verification required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Epic electronic health records system
Familiarity with CVA patient management and neurological assessment
