Registered Nurse – ICU
Location
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting during overnight shifts
- Monitor and assess neurological status of critically ill patients
- Implement and manage individualized care plans for ICU patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of ICU experience
- Strong neurological nursing skills required
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a dedicated Neuro ICU environment
- Familiarity with neurological monitoring equipment and protocols
