Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting for an adult to geriatric population
• Manage and monitor patients with diagnoses including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, post-op complications, and ESRD on CRRT
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2–3, with the possibility of a third patient assignment as census requires
• Utilize unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
• Float within the facility within scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend and adhere to holiday scheduling requirements per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required prior to start
• Ability to meet full compliance requirements, with all documents submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience managing patients on CRRT
