Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool
Location
Augusta, GA

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population across multiple unit types including ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, PCU, MS, and MS/Tele
- Float primarily within ICU settings with the ability to float to PCU, MS, and MS/Tele units as needed
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios: 1:2–3 in ICU, 1:4–5 in PCU, and 1:5–6 in MS/MS Tele settings
- Utilize facility electronic health record and medication dispensing systems accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend rotation and holiday coverage expectations per contract terms
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
- Willingness and ability to float across multiple unit types within the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit travel nursing role
- Familiarity with ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, PCU, and MS/Tele patient populations and diagnoses
