Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Travel Contract)

Florence, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, ensuring safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EHR
Float to other units as required to support staffing needs across the facility
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and take ownership of assigned patient caseload

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience (5 years preferred)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Demonstrated Med/Surg clinical skills and competencies
Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

5 or more years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Prior experience with Meditech electronic health record system
Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
