Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Travel Contract)

Florence, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit serving adult and geriatric populations
Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 in an 18-bed unit setting
Document accurately and efficiently using Meditech EHR
Float to other units as required based on staffing needs
Participate in rotating weekend coverage with no on-call requirements
Attend weekly Monday orientation sessions as scheduled

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience (5 years strongly preferred)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EHR
Willingness to float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

5 or more years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting
Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
