Job Title

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Florence, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Document patient progress and clinical findings using Epic electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to support patient care plans
Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) if applicable

Required Qualifications

Current South Carolina state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Radiation badge compliance required
Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

Minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
Experience working in a high-acuity or acute care rehabilitation environment
