Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Location

Dickinson, ND

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a 4-bed ICU setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2–3 depending on acuity
  • Manage and titrate drips common to an ICU environment
  • Care for patients with diagnoses including DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac conditions (rate and rhythm control), and medical detox
  • Manage and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment ranging from nasal cannula to mechanical ventilation
  • Read and independently interpret telemetry monitor strips
  • Float to Med/Surg or the Emergency Department (1:1 assignments) as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current NIHSS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • TNCC, TCAR, or demonstrated experience in the care of trauma patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience managing arterial lines (art lines) and CVP monitoring
  • Prior ICU experience with high-acuity patient populations
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
