Job Title

Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Location

Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech language pathology services within an acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting
Perform Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across acute and inpatient rehab units as needed, including float coverage
Participate in weekend rotations as part of a heavy weekend rotation schedule

Required Qualifications

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
State of Alaska fingerprinting and background check submitted through NABCS; must be in provisional or cleared status prior to assignment start
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

FEES and MBSS credentialing strongly preferred
Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with Meditech systems
Team-oriented personality with strong collaborative communication skills
