Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Big Spring, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 and 4x12 shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit, primarily serving adult patients
Occasionally care for pediatric patients as assigned, with permanent staff available for support
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

Active, in-hand Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
Active Nursys verification required at time of submission
SSN/RTO required with submission
Must be able to complete required compliance lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Comfort and experience caring for both adult and pediatric patient populations
