Description

Job Title

Travel RN – Labor and Delivery

Location

Brigham City, Utah

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit with 8 beds
Manage labor and delivery patients at a 2:1 ratio and couplets (mother/baby) at a 4:1 ratio
Perform and assist with deliveries and patient recovery
Conduct newborn testing including CCHD screening, Newborn Metabolic Screening, Bilirubin, and Hearing Screening
Operate and interpret fetal monitoring equipment
Float occasionally to other areas of the facility such as ED or Med/Surg as a sitter when needed

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Nursery experience required
Current ACLS certification
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Current STABLE certification
CEFM or AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

C-Section experience strongly preferred
Experience with Meditech or CPN electronic medical record systems
