Job Title

Travel RN – Progressive Care Neuro Trauma (PCU/Step-Down)

Location

Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
Utilize bedside monitoring equipment including end-tidal O2 monitoring, high-flow oxygen, chronic vents, and subdural drains
Perform and assist with unit procedures including chest tube management and EEG monitoring
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with a team of RNs and aides across night shift to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED as needed

Required Qualifications

Active RN license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
Telemetry experience required
Step-down experience required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Neuro nursing experience strongly preferred
Trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
