Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 31, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed NICU serving infants ranging from 23 to 40+ weeks gestation
  • Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3 in accordance with unit staffing guidelines
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ventilators, oscillators, and Vapotherm devices
  • Perform and assist with unit procedures including intubations, eye exams, feeding tube insertions, and IV insertions
  • Document patient care using Centricity Perinatal and Meditech EMR systems
  • Float to Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery as needed; fulfill weekend rotation of 3–4 weekends per month

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
  • Demonstrated ventilator experience
  • Experience caring for infants at 23–40+ weeks gestation
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with oscillator ventilation
  • Familiarity with CPN charting
