Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 31, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed NICU serving infants ranging from 23 to 40+ weeks gestation
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3 in accordance with unit staffing guidelines
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ventilators, oscillators, and Vapotherm devices
- Perform and assist with unit procedures including intubations, eye exams, feeding tube insertions, and IV insertions
- Document patient care using Centricity Perinatal and Meditech EMR systems
- Float to Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery as needed; fulfill weekend rotation of 3–4 weekends per month
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
- Demonstrated ventilator experience
- Experience caring for infants at 23–40+ weeks gestation
- Current CPR certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with oscillator ventilation
- Familiarity with CPN charting
