Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel Contract)

Location

Hickory, North Carolina

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct perioperative nursing care to adult patients in a 13-bed operating room suite
Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems (DaVinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical procedures
Participate in on-call rotation, including up to 7 days per month covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Required Qualifications

Active RN licensure (ADN or BSN accepted)
Minimum of 1–2 years of Operating Room experience
Ability to work 10-hour day shifts across a 4-day schedule
Willingness to fulfill call requirements (up to 7 days per month including weekends)
Must meet travel eligibility requirements (residing 60 or more miles from facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in orthopedic or neurosurgical OR settings
Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms
