Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks have been delegated
Support nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate patient care
Monitor and manage clinical staff competency within the Emergency Department
Ensure appropriate resource management related to patient care at the unit level

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
Demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize patient care needs in a fast-paced environment
Ability to delegate and supervise clinical staff appropriately

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role within an emergency setting
Familiarity with quality and safety standards in an acute care environment
