Job Title

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)

St. Joseph, Missouri

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to adult and geriatric patients on an 18-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit
Treat patients with diagnoses including stroke, Parkinson's disease, joint replacement, and orthopedic and neurological conditions
Utilize Epic EHR to document patient care, progress, and treatment plans
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
Float to other units within the hospital as needed based on ARU census

Required Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Missouri; compact license accepted
Completion of all required hospital onboarding and facility-required trainings
Ability to work day shift hours in an acute rehabilitation setting
Team-oriented attitude with openness to feedback

Preferred Experience / Skills

1 or more years of physical therapy experience; new graduates will be considered
Experience working with adult and geriatric populations in an acute or rehabilitation setting
Familiarity with Epic EHR
