Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed acute care Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage a patient ratio of up to 6:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care across telemetry, surgical, and general medical patient types
• Operate and monitor equipment including Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Participate in occasional weekend shifts and respond to on-call needs when the unit is understaffed
• Float as needed to support inpatient hold patients within the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience required for travel consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Willingness to occasionally work weekends and respond to on-call needs
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Cerner EHR preferred
• Flexible, team-oriented personality with a willingness to assist across the unit as needed
