Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical

Location

Weatherford, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
Monitor and document patient conditions, interventions, and responses to treatment
Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state license
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and quality improvement initiatives
Experience in a hospital recognized for patient care excellence
