Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 or 48-hour weeks available | Up to 26 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit serving a wide variety of patient types including general medical, gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgical patients
• Care for patients across specialty areas including ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical populations (GI, urology, gynecological procedures)
• Maintain staffing ratios of 1:5–6 patients on nights, with potential flex to 1:8 when paired with LPN support
• Float to other Medical-Surgical units based on staffing needs, approximately once per week
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and Techs
• Work every other weekend and provide holiday coverage as required by staffing demands

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN License (pending license acceptable with confirmed ETA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (pending acceptable with confirmation of intent to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Availability for the first two weeks of orientation
• Willingness to float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Supervisor-level reference required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Experience working with diverse care teams including RNs, LPNs, and patient care technicians
