Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients in accordance with established clinical standards.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care activities.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required; Iowa RN license required (or willingness to obtain upon placement).
• Minimum experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Step-Down nursing required.
• Some oncology experience required.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a trauma center environment.
• Familiarity with charge nurse or preceptor responsibilities.
