Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 6-Week Assignment | Rotating Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit with 14 labor beds, 2 ORs, 6 recovery bays, and 8 antepartum beds
• Manage labor patients at a 1:2 ratio and antepartum patients at a 1:4 ratio
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, bilateral tubal ligations, D&C procedures, and uterine tamponade device placement
• Administer and titrate Magnesium and Pitocin drips per protocol
• Utilize GE Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and document in Meditech/Centricity Perinatal EMR
• Float to Antepartum and Postpartum (OB assignment only) as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Intermittent EFM competency
• Demonstrated labor management skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to circulate in the L&D OR
• Experience with GE EFM and Meditech/Centricity Perinatal EMR systems
• Positive, compassionate, and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced perinatal environment
