Job Title

MRI Technologist

Location

Cooperstown, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Thursday 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures to ensure optimal image quality
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns
Review patient histories and screen for contraindications prior to scanning
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results

Required Qualifications

Active ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR)
Current state licensure as required
Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment
Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contraindication screening

Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous experience in a hospital or acute care imaging setting
Familiarity with a variety of MRI sequences and advanced imaging techniques
