Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (07:00–19:00) | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 34-bed Emergency Department serving a patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• Manage an average daily census of approximately 100 ED visits, delivering timely triage and treatment
• Operate within a team that includes ED providers (MD/PA) and utilizes triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation protocols
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR and manage medications via Pyxis
• Float to units of like or lesser acuity as needed
• Perform charge nurse duties as needed (preferred but not required)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• BLS, ACLS, CPI, and PALS certifications required — all must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• No local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
