Job Title

MRI Technologist

Location

Waterbury, CT

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
Operate MRI equipment and monitor image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy
Screen patients for contraindications prior to scanning and document findings appropriately
Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any technical issues or malfunctions promptly

Required Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR)
Active state licensure as required in Connecticut
Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient screening procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging environment
Familiarity with a variety of MRI sequences and advanced imaging techniques
