Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel Contract)
Location
Rocky Mount, NC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Stepdown/Telemetry unit to a general unit population
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer and manage cardiac drip infusions as ordered
- Perform and document neurological assessments using NIHSS as required
- Float to additional units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- Cardiac drip experience required
- Basic Arrhythmia certification required with a passing score of 85% or higher
- NIHSS certification required (annually)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Prior experience in a Stepdown or progressive care unit setting
