Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Rotating Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Deliver age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in an emergency room setting
Provide nursing care in accordance with Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care
Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other levels of staff
Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Active ACLS certification
Active BLS certification
Active TNCC certification
Active PALS or ENPC certification
Active NRP certification and de-escalation training required; a renewal plan must be in place for any certifications not active prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an emergency room or acute care nursing environment
Demonstrated ability to lead and delegate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
