Job Title

Travel Speech Language Pathologist – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services within an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
Evaluate and treat patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, and debility
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's rehabilitation goals
Document patient progress and clinical notes using EPIC and Rehab Connect electronic health record systems
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery and return to independence
Deliver care to a general adult patient population across rehabilitation floors

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid SLP certification/licensure required
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation hospital settings
Familiarity with EPIC and/or Rehab Connect EHR platforms
Experience treating diagnoses such as stroke, TBI, and spinal cord injury
