Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 17-bed Emergency Department serving geriatric, adult, and some pediatric populations
• Efficiently and safely manage a patient assignment at a 1:4 ratio regardless of acuity level
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient status across a range of presentations including chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatric emergencies
• Document patient care accurately using ED Paragon EHR
• Participate in self-scheduling through the When to Work application
• Collaborate as part of a team-oriented Emergency Department with no on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; minimum education of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• 2–3+ years of Emergency Department experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• Ability to manage patients of varying acuity safely and efficiently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ED Paragon EHR
• Familiarity with chest pain, abdominal pain, and behavioral health patient populations
• Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented personality with a hardworking and friendly approach
