Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Nights)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-hour Emergency Department serving patients across the full age spectrum
• Perform core ER clinical tasks including phlebotomy, IV insertion, EKG, splinting, wound care, and patient transport
• Utilize the Meditech electronic health record system to document and manage patient information accurately
• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on creating a positive experience for patients and families while meeting operational metrics
• Float on a rare basis to units appropriate to skill set or as an additional set of hands when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to independently perform all standard Emergency Department clinical tasks
• Self-motivated, self-sufficient, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Team-oriented approach to patient care and departmental collaboration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech EHR platform
• Demonstrated focus on patient and family experience while maintaining operational and departmental metrics
