Travel RN – NICU (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: August 23, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in a Level NICU setting on night shift
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill or premature newborns throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
- All required NICU certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the worksite to qualify for travel designation
- Must comply with New Mexico State fingerprinting requirement (LPNT): all clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the background check is being processed; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver under supervision while awaiting results
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
- Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards and compliance requirements
- Experience working in a facility offering both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services
