Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Bridgeport, WV

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Perform IV starts and manage intravenous therapy for emergency patients
Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient care based on acuity
Deliver emergency treatment and interventions in accordance with established protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Active West Virginia RN License (or compact license with WV privileges)
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Demonstrated proficiency in IV starts, triage, and emergency treatment competencies
Prior travel nursing experience required – first-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

5 or more years of Emergency Department experience, including small ED settings
CPI, MAB, NRP, or TNCC certification
Experience with blocked scheduling arrangements
