Job Title

RN - Medical Surgical (Charge)

Quinter, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 36 Hours per Week | 6–13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting within a small rural Critical Access Hospital
Serve in a Charge RN capacity, overseeing unit operations during the night shift
Utilize the CPSI-Evident EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
Support emergency room coverage needs as required given combined Med Surg and ER experience
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Active Kansas RN license or multistate compact license required at time of submission
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
Previous Medical Surgical experience required
Previous Emergency Room experience required
Previous Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience required
Must be available to start on or before 10/05/2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Familiarity with CPSI-Evident EMR system
