Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Wichita Falls, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 or 4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit with a heavy cardiac and CVA patient population
Manage and titrate cardiac drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, and related infusions
Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and transitions

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in-hand prior to start
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
Travel nursing experience required
Strong cardiac nursing background with demonstrated ability to manage cardiac drips
Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
Active Nursys verification required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous charge nurse experience preferred
Experience with Epic electronic health record system strongly preferred
