Physical Therapist – Acute Care (Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:00) | Onsite | Weekends required (approximately 2–4 per month) | Block scheduling required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Float between units as needed, including potential float to nearby affiliate facilities
• Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in holiday coverage, committing to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required orientation modules and annual training within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active Oregon Physical Therapist license (or pending licensure accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates considered at a different rate tier)
• Must have reliable personal vehicle for this assignment
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with floating protocols across multiple units or facilities
