Contract | Days | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care to patients following delivery, managing up to 4 couplets as standard census
• Care for high-risk obstetric patients within a large-volume, high-census facility serving a diverse patient population
• Administer and monitor medications and interventions including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Foley catheter management
• Recognize and respond to postpartum hemorrhage and support patients experiencing substance withdrawal
• Perform and document second-hour recovery for Labor and Delivery patients as required
• Float to postpartum units at sister campuses as needed per assignment requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of postpartum / mother-baby nursing experience with high-acuity patient populations
• High-risk obstetric care experience required
• Proficiency with Magnesium administration and Epic EMR (both are hard stops)
• Experience with Pitocin, Foley catheter, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal care
• Active BLS and NRP certifications required
• Valid RN license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with JADA system for postpartum hemorrhage management
• Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers with qualifying experience will be considered
