Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Shifts: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM / 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | Cyclic Self-Scheduling | Every 3rd weekend minimum | Minimum 2 holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage a patient population that includes stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, brain injury, critical illness, and neurological conditions such as MS and Parkinson's disease
• Administer and monitor set-rate drips including antibiotics, anticoagulation, and antiplatelet therapies
• Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aides, and patient care technicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
• Float to MedSurg as needed based on unit staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively across the interdisciplinary care team

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must successfully pass a unit-specific open-book skills examination with a score of 90% or higher during orientation
• Artificial nails are prohibited; compliance with facility fingernail policy is mandatory
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Candidates must not be concurrently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with CommonSpirit Health, including CHI or Dignity Health

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation, MedSurg, or neurological nursing
• Familiarity with stroke, spinal cord injury, or brain injury patient populations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6 on nights
