Contract | Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM | Includes holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment in accordance with safety protocols
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and ensure timely delivery of results
• Prepare patients for MRI scans and explain procedures to promote comfort and cooperation
• Insert IVs when necessary for contrast-enhanced imaging procedures
• Document all procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information
• Perform patient care tasks as needed throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of MRI Technologist experience
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• GE scanner experience required
• Injection certification required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• NYS Radiologic Technologist license required; candidates willing to obtain after start will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
• Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to stand for extended periods
