Contract | Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during day shift hours
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Document and track hours worked through the designated workforce management system
• Complete all required pre-start and annual facility modules within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience prior to travel
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of two attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with electronic workforce management and module tracking systems
